Timing of Consuming

Depending on the wine, some are to be consumed rightaway after being opened. Others should be left standing for a while before drinking. Some General Rules:

Drink without delay after opened. Bottle should be left standing on the table.

After the bottle is being opened, wait for an hour or so before consuming. Bottle upright.
